Uterine fibroid tumors of the uterus are the most common growth of the female genital tract.  They are discrete, round, firm, benign lumps of the muscular wall of the uterus, composed of a smooth muscle and connective tissue.  They often cause or are coincidental with heavier periods, irregular bleeding and/or painful periods.

Contemporary medical treatment is usually surgical.  Generally, a hysterectomy has to be performed since most surgeons are unable to excise (remove) only the fibroid.

It is believed that natural (bioidentical) progesterone offers a better alternative.  Fibroid tumors, like breast fibroids, are a product of estrogen dominance.  Estrogen stimulates their growth and lack of estrogen causes them to atrophy (shrink).  When sufficient natural (bioidentical) progesterone is replaced, fibroid tumors no longer grow in size (generally they decrease in size) and can be kept from growing until menopause, after which they will usually atrophy.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE OF OASIS SERENE

WHERE TO APPLY:

Apply with clean hands to clean skin. Do not use on skin where lotion, powder or perfume has been applied. We suggest that you purchase a plastic measuring spoon to use exclusively with your Oasis Serene Product. After each use wash with warm water and dry with clean towel. All measuring should be at a level dosage.

Apply to Neck, Hands, Breasts, Chest, Inner Arms, Inner Legs and Feet until absorbed. Progesterone is best absorbed on thin skin where blood vessels are visible. It absorbs into the skin to the fatty layer then it is transferred into the bloodstream.

Remember to rotate sites when applying Oasis Serene (If you apply to your chest in the morning, apply to your feet in the evening, etc.). This is very important so that any one particular area of skin does not become sensitive to the product.

We do not recommend applying Oasis Serene to the face.

WHEN TO APPLY AND HOW MUCH TO APPLY:

It is recommended that you use Oasis Serene from days 10-26 of you cycle to alleviate your symptoms.

·         Day 1 is the first day bleeding.  On day 12, begin using ½ teaspoon TWICE A DAY, and use through day 26, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.  (For an irregular cycle, use on days 10-26 and you should begin to have a regular cycle-this could take from 3-6 months).

·         Oasis Serene begins to work 20 minutes after application and lasts in the body for 8 hours, thus TWICE A DAY applications are required!

·         You may increase the dosage by adding ¼ teaspoon in the middle of the day if your symptoms get worse the week before your period.  Discontinue use of Oasis Serene on day 26 of your cycle to allow your body to have a period.

·         If you begin to bleed before day 26 of your cycle, stop Oasis Serene and start the cycle all over again.  You should get regulated within 3-6 months.

·         It is sometimes impossible to use Oasis Serene with precision as you go through menopause because your body is trying to stop your period altogether.  Continue to use Oasis Serene with as much precision as is possible until your period subsides.

·         If you have cramps with bleeding, you can apply Oasis Serene directly to the cramping area for immediate relief.  After a couple of months on Oasis Serene, your cramps should subside!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

·         Oasis Serene is not suggested for birth control.  It can suppress ovulation if used prior to ovulation time.  It can enhance conception if used starting on the first day of ovulation.

·         If you are using the birth control pill, it is recommended that you use Oasis Serene 7 days prior to your period.  You may get some relief of your PMS.  However, women who are not on the pill obtain the best results.

·         Although there have been no reports of significant side effects or health problems associated with natural (bioidentical) progesterone, we encourage you to find a trusted health care provider to work with you as you use Oasis Serene.

·         There have been reports of incidental spotting, which may be associated with progesterone use: however, this is usually temporary.  A physician should always check any persistent spotting or breakthrough bleeding.  Because some PMS and Menopausal symptoms may indicate other conditions, please be sure to consult a health care provider if you ever experience headaches or progressive symptoms.

·         Natural (bioidentical) progesterone cream can potentially INCREASE THYROID ACTIVITY.  If you are taking thyroid supplements, you should consult your health care provider and consider lowering the amount of thyroid supplementation you use.

·         DOSAGE MAY VARY PER INDIVIDUAL.  A woman typically produces 20 to 40 mg of progesterone per day in her ovaries during the luteal phase of her cycle.  During pregnancy, the production of progesterone is taken over by the placenta.  A woman in her third trimester of pregnancy produces up to 400 mg of progesterone per day.

·         For vaginal dryness, we suggest using our O2-Zap and or Full-Spectrum 8 Optimum E capsules applied in and to the vaginal area. When using O2-Zap it is recommended to mix 1/2 teaspoon with 1/4 teaspoon of cold-pressed organic olive oil. O2-Zap will create a warming sensation.

·         For migraines, headaches or night sweats, you may use a dab of cream behind the ears every 15 minutes for an hour.
