I was diagnosed with PCOS last year and since August my period has been absent. I've tried a multitude of alternative methods to bring it back and nothing had worked. I even tried Metformin for a month, but the side effects were just too awful for me to continue with it. I started reading up on NPC and decided to go to the health food store and buy some. After using it for 14 days I stopped, and waited. I never got my period and was very disappointed and discouraged. My husband and I aren't trying to conceive yet, but knowing I've gone almost 9 months without a period has been depressing and scary. My main priority was getting my cycle back on track, not only for the health of my body, but to begin preparation for when we are ready to start trying. I came across your site and found it incredibly informative. I threw the other NPC away, and purchased a jar of Oasis Serene. I started using it May 1st, 2009 making sure to measure exactly the right amount (as I just guessed with the previous brand). I found the consistency of the cream to be smooth and pleasing, and the jar made it much more convenient to measure than the tube of the other brand. Yesterday was the 9th day, and I got my period. I have never been so happy in all my life to get it. I am curious why this happened now though, when I thought it was the drop in progesterone that causes menstruation. Regardless, I am thrilled it worked, and will continue to use it once my period ends. Thank you so much for making a wonderful product!
